'Tis The Season For Hating: Yellow Nigga Goes In On Lupe Fiasco, Lupe Fires Back

Yeah, shoulda known Elliot @ Rap Radar would go in on Wasalu's Christmas Eve tirade, but to say you never cared for the brotha? Tsk tsk...

Now not surprisingly the LASERS zealot himself had some choice words to speak on Elliot Wilson's duplicitous character (via lupefiasco.com):

"He talking about Lupe Fiasco by the way...ummm...Thanks I guess???

Why though?

Anyways, dude will stay present on the RR site next year because that's what you young bucks want."

Hmmm...I mean he has all the pertinent and professional information i.e. Ego v.s. Catalouge argument, not as good as Kanye, Joe Budden-esque derived fanbase, lack of classics etc, as well as all the right in the world not to post me up on his site. So why take the hypocritical stance of continuing to promote something that you thoroughly and strongly disagree with both personally and professionally?

Greed maybe? I mean my name brings traffic to sites. Now whether the amount of traffic is small or massive doesn't matter. It all translates into "impressions" which once accumulated translates into money. Impressions mean money. Money from advertisers and investors. So to be clear the equation crudely looks like this:

artists and all that surrounds them (good or bad, gossip worthy or uninteresting) = traffic = impressions = money!

Now we can all agree the most classic byproduct of money is GREED...so maybe its greed...keep him in the mix even though we don't like him just because he adds to the bottomline...say it aint so...and this leads to my next one...

Or what about just plain old honest phoniness, fakery & falsehood?...I mean thats what RUNS our industry...a lil money here and a lot of phoniness over there....all kept quietly under a smiley face until you leave the room and they got what they want out of you and then before you can even get to the elevator its fuck that nigga!...I mean to NEVER had liked someone means you didn't like them from the beginning...like from day one...to be safe lets say 2005...and how many times have I been in XXL under your reign? or how many posts have I had on RAPRADAR.COM since then?...hmmm...somebody somewhere is faking the funk...but hey thats how its is from the STREETS to the BOARDROOM...niggaz do fake shit all the time to get things done but niggaz dont ever NEVER wanna be called out as fakes or when they are on their phoney behavior especially when KEEPING IT REAL or REALNESS is the status quo and such a reputable status to have & maintain...so maybe someone is just being dishonest with themselves and needs to have a INTERNAL REALITY CHECK so they can just do the things that that person wants to do in full honesty & harmony with themselves...you know?...truth shall set ya free....

Ok what about public pressure?...pressure from the public...the public pressuring you to do something that you dont necessarily want to do or agree with for the sake of remaining in good favor or status with the public. Thats what runs the industry too...Customer is king and you are a servant to the public. That is such a position of great responsibility. So i hope that if some small cross section of the public humbly comes to request you NOT post anymore Lupe Fiasco material that the reaction to this public demand will be as eloquent and responsible as "I'll pass. Kiss my ass"...I mean that is what the "young bucks" want...and Lord knows I could use the exposure...

Why black out when you can just as easily shed light?...some people...i guess...

Happy Holidays Indeed!!!"

Never hesitant, B.Dot from Rap Radar took to neutralize Rap Radar's standing with Lupe Fiasco while also maintain that the H.Y.N.I.C. is free to his own opinion (via RR):

"Last night, Lupe Fiasco responded to Yellow Nigga’s “Blackout” rant at his home base. Sorry folks, but there’s no “beef”. As the saying goes, opinions are like— well, you know, and everyone has one. Even YN. Personally, I’m ambivalent towards Lupe’s music. One minute, I’m totally engrossed. (see: “Hip-Hop Saved My Life”) The next, I’m completely lost in translation (see: “Shining Down”).
Despite Elliott’s gripes, we’ve got a job to do. Personal feelings go the way of Ron Browz. At the end of the day, Lupe’s maintained his relevancy and earned some hardware along the way. As YN said, if the young bucks want ‘em, find him at this very URL. No Losers here."

Hopefully, no more words need to be exchanged between the two parties. This sites beginning to look like a LASERS fansite already. On to the next Chicagoan to Hate with Love.

CHICAGO IS FOR HATERS LASERS.
