2010 FTW Daily Double: Common's "Next Time" & Kanye's "What It Is" Demo

Happy New Year, Chicago Haters!

*Late Bus with CoCo?

What better way to start the new year than with a couple of previously unreleased shit from 2007 (wtf?) by two of (arguably?) Chi-City's finest.

The first one is a scrapped track by Common Sense circa. Finding Forever, "Next Time" produced by Kon Man. It samples Sylvia Robinson's "Sweet Stuff" so it's got the sugar fiends hooked already to the boogie-da-boogie-the-beat (Sugar Hill, anyone?). Fuck ya then...

"Next Time" (via Real Hip Hop since 79)

The second one is basically a demo of a track Kanye did for the pop girl group Sophia Fresh.

Sure.

Here's the link, do whatever you want with it.

"What is kene west?" (via Rap Radar & Perajok)

p.s. It looks like the hoosier hobgoblin got a bit pressed to take it off in the wee hours of the night. Well kiddies, at least you can peep it from Rap Radar like I did.

Thanks, Yella!

CHICAGO IS FOR HATERS IN 2010... FTW!
